data collection, and “as built” documentation.

Visibility for Shop Floor Supervisors

nonconformance tags against them, etc, at their finger tips. Since all transactions collected in the building process
are stored in a relational database, shop floor supervisors have access to real-time data for making decisions.
The system’s Order Status functionality provides an up-to-the-minute status of all operations on the manufacturing,
tool, or re-work order, often eliminating the need for time-consuming production review meetings to discuss
information that could be weeks old and that could lead to incorrect decisions.
Partwise offers graphical visualization tools, such as electronic charts, that aggregate and organize
operational data and shop floor activities. The result is an accurate view of all work status at all times.

Work Queue

The Work Queue can be sorted by any number of criteria to provide a list of orders that are in the queue
and ready for work, or even future orders coming into the area. From the work queue,
supervisors may assign or un-assign work to individual workers or “loan” employees
to specific work centers for temporary work assignments.
