A point-of-sale (POS) terminal is a computerized replacement for a cash register. Much more complex than
the cash registers of even just a few years ago, the POS system can include the ability to record and track
customer orders, process credit and debit cards, connect to other systems in a network, and manage inventory.
Point of Sale streamlines inventory management and reporting, automates transaction processing
start-to-finish, and makes it easy to track customer information and maintain detailed customer histories.

of criteria followed by sales industry. With multiple Point of Sale screens, users will have the benefit
of choosing the type of screen require. There is also a running slide show of all items with their photos.
The application helps the industry to avoid loss due to theft of goods or sale of goods lower than the cost price.
The application also takes care of cash drawers with opening and closing balances day by day.
One can easily get the report on sale through different modes of payment.

Stock Entry

There are many ways to enter the item according to its type. One way is by using the navigation buttons.
VPOS also has the ability to sort, find, delete or even clone the items.

POS (SALE SCREEN)

The application’s user-friendly interface makes it easy to record the sale. There are many options
which might be needed at the time of sale. For example: gift vouchers, credits, reward points, void invoice
suspend invoice, recall invoice and many more. It also has a facility to split the payment into two parts.
After the sale, the amount is automatically stored in accounts ledger. This is useful when determining
the amount of daily profit or turnover. A simpler POS screen is available for organizations or industries
who do not wish to maintain their client records.

VPOS can automatically generate orders with different options.

Accounts

VPOS has a facility to enter vouchers other than Sale and Purchase. There is a choice of bundling
the accounting function with VPOS or just keeping the accounting function to work independently.
VPOS’s accounting capabilities include full reporting functions of Cash/Day Book, Trial balance,
Trading Account, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet etc.
